<b>New owners join with DreamHack</B> - eSport guru in the World's biggest LAN!</b>

Today GosuGamers can report as the first international site that David "G3X" Garpenståhl, the e-Sport guru, has bought himself into the DreamHack organization. Licenses for ESWC, The CPL, WSVG and Extreme Masters that David managed will continue with DreamHack as plans for a broader eSport begins.



David "G3X" Garpenståhl and Robert Ohlén, both currently famous in the eSport scene for working with ESWC, CPL, WSVG and Extreme Masters, have bought themselves into the DreamHack corporation.

Previous owners Kenny Eklund and Martin Öjes will remain as owners in DreamHack and continue to work fulltime together with David and Robert who will support new competence to the company.

Plans for a broader eSport event


In an exclusive interview with GosuGamers, David Garpenståhl reveals plans to broaden the eSport scene in general and at DreamHack in particular by allowing "casual gamers" to join the concept of eSport. Ideas for a new version of a Swedish national league, CPL World Tour stops at DreamHack and DreamHack more times per year are being discussed. David also mentions that Blizzard Entertainment and Vivendi have been to DreamHack this year to see the event and that David with DreamHack wishes to attempt things "that has never before been done within eSport".

How much the purchase for the new owners has cost is unknown and David wishes not to comment on how many percentages he and Robert now owns.

Two days ago, officially by Guiness World Records, DreamHack broke the world record of number of participants for a computer festival.
