McClung Leads with 24 Left in EPT San Remo

With only 24 players left after Day 4 of the European Poker Tour's San Remo main event, Canadian poker pro Chris McClung is maintaining a sizable lead over the field with 3.1 million chips. Over seven hours, the 64 players were reduced to three tables of 24 tables by the conclusion. It should be an exciting finish as a number of notable and respected players are still in the field; including Alessio Isaia, Johnny Lodden, Lex Veldhuis, Kevin MacPhee, Lex Veldhuis, Mike McDonald, and Barny Boatman.

McClung is certainly running well, having eliminated Joseph Cheong when he got all in pre-flop with a suited Q,7 to Cheong's K's, only to see the turn and river complete his flush and eliminate Cheong for a massive pot.

Elio Fox, the 25-year-old who just won the massive World Series of Poker Europe Main Event for nearly $2 million is continuing his dream couple of weeks is still in contention, although low in chips.
