Final Table Set at 2011 WSOPE Main Event

After four days of play and 575 eliminations, the final 8 players are ready to do battle for the title of winner of the €10,400 buy-in 2011 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event in Cannes, France. Brit Chris Moorman played steadily all day and sits in third, just behind fellow Brit Jake Cody and chip leader American Elio Fox. For Fox, this would be his second big score. In July he won the Bellagio Cup Main Event for $644,192.

Moorman and Shawn Buchanan additionally hope to win the tournament so they can vault over Ben Lamb in the WSOP Player of the Year leaderboard.

Patrik Antonius just missed the TV final table going out in 9th.

All remaining 8 players are looking towards the €1.4 million, or roughly $1.9 million that is guaranteed for first place.
