Merge Network To Re-Open to U.S. Today

Four months after closing down access to American players due to concerns about too rapid growth and payment processing issues, the Merge Gaming Network has apparently sorted those issues and re-opening to U.S. players save for 6 states where state rule forbid online poker.

American players will be able to access their various skins after 12:01 AM EDT if they desire to start playing on the second largest network that still allows Americans to play in the wake of Black Friday.

With any significant influx of players, Merge should easily pass Bodog to become the most trafficked site still serving the U.S.

The six states that will remain off limits are Washington DC, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Missouri, New York and Washington.

Individual skins on the network will make their own decisions as to whether they choose to re-enter the U.S. market with the potential risks as of Black Friday. Long standing players have been playing during the interim.
