Steve Billirakis wins second bracelet

A more experienced Steve Bilirakis won his second bracelet by winning the €5,300 Pot Limit Omaha event at the WSOPE in Cannes, France. Four years ago he became the then youngest ever WSOP bracelet winner, which lasted only three months before Annette Obrestad because the youngest winner at only 18 when she won the inaugural WSOPE Main Event, then held in London.

Over the last four years, Billirakis has become a regular on the tournament circuit while grinding a lot of poker online as he now has two children and soon to be married. His added poker and life experience came in handy to defeat a tough final table that included the ultra-hot Sam Trickett and November Niner Eoghan O'Dea.

Final table results:

1st: Steve Billirakis – €238,140
2nd: Michele di Lauro – €141,171
