The original hearing was held July 26th at the Victoria Park Plaza hotel in London. At that hearing, lawyers for Full Tilt successfully lobbied the hearing to be conducted in private despite the original intention of a public hearing. They also successfully lobbied for more time to secure an investor to help address some of the pending issues before the AGCC.
The upcoming hearing will be held at 9 am at the Plaza Suite at the Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel, London.
Since the last hearing, the exclusive negotiating period ended with the most likely investor without any investment. Full Tilt Poker has issued a couple statements outlining some issues and outward blame for their present predicament. Two Full Tilt attorney's Jeffrey Ifrah and David Deitch have filed a motion to step down at Full Tilt's attorneys of record, even though they continue to represent some of the individual owners of record.
The two lawyers cited that “continued representation of the Defendants would create unreasonable difficulty for us to carry our employment effectively and would result in an unreasonable financial burden to our law firm.”
It is possible they are spread quite thin with the various lawsuits and issues facing Full Tilt Poker. In one of their statements they indicated that as many as six potential investors have visited Dublin, headquarters of Full Tilt Poker, to determine if would like to invest in Full Tilt Poker.
