Belgian Vandermissen leads EPT Snowfest final table

Belgian Vandermissen leads the final table of the European Poker Tour's Snowfest main event at the Alpine Palace Hotel in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria with 4.51 million chip. Vandermissen has about double the second place player so looks to be in a dominating position. The eight player final table will play down to a winner on Friday starting at 2 PM local time.

Here is a look at the final eight players remaining at the EPT Snowfest:

1. Kevin Vandersmissen — 4,512,000
2. Cristian Dragomir — 2,293,000
3. Philip Meulyzer — 1,758,000
4. Vladimir Geshkenbein — 1,678,000
5. Koen De Visscher — 1,543,000
6. Denis Murphy — 991,000
7. Giacomo Maisto — 986,000
8. Morten Mortensen — 780,000

Speculation is that PKR poker prop Vladimir Geshkenbein will be the action player at the table, either busting first or building a sizable chip stack due to his wild play and willingness to play virtually any hand and get his chips in the middle. He won the APT Macua High Roller tournament last year in similar fashion.

The Final Table prize list:

1st place – €390,000
2nd place – €260,000
3rd place – €147,000
4th place – €100,000
5th place – €81,000
6th place – €65,000
7th place – €49,000
8th place – €35,000

A total of 482 players from 44 countries entered the €3,750 EPT Snowfest main event making a €1,636,390 prizepool.
