Gus Hansen Continues to Roll in 2011 Hitting $4 Million in Winnings

Gus Hansen seems to be avoiding his annual spring swoon and has continued to pile on the wins in 2011, now topping over $4 million in less than three months.

Hansen's latest victim was none other than Phil Ivey. They played a short 95 hand session at $500/$1000 Cap PLO where "The Great Dane" won $200,000 before Ivey quit.

One interesting aspect this year is that Hansen has come back strong from any single down days, quickly recovering and surging upward. He seems focused and motivated to prove his doubters wrong. Hansen is currently doubling the results of the second best winners on the year Matt Hawrilenko (+$1,900,904) "gavz101" (+$1,77M), Dan ‘jungleman12’ Cates (+$1,2M) and Phil Ivey (+$1,13M).

On the losing end this year so far include Tom "durrrr" Dwan (-$1,4M), "Kagome Kagome/IHateJuice" (-$1,3M) and "fishosaurusREX" (-$1,2M)
