PokerStars continues their pattern of scheduling three different buy-in levels of the same event starting at the same time. Each event is roughly a factor of ten away from the other, so for instance $11, $109, and $1050 and so on. It gives all level of player some event they can buy-in for each tournament. You can play one or all of them, depending on your ability to multitask or bankroll.
Over $45 million is guaranteed in the stated tournaments, but last year they reached over $63 million in actual prize money so expect those numbers to grow.
The Main Event is to be held at 17:00 ET on May 22nd with a $109, $1,050, and $10,300 buy in events with $1 million, $3 million, and $5 million guarantees.
Last year's main event winner was toetagU who won the high buy-in level main event for $1,162,350.
There is also a large buy-in heads-up event on May 21st at 15:30 ET with $270, $2,600, and $25,000 buy-in versions.
