Hinkle Ends FTOPS XIX With $1 Million Cash In Main Event

Blair "blur5f6" Hinkle made the biggest score of any FTOPS event ever, banking $1,162,949.74 when he chopped three-handed with him holding a sizable lead three handed in the FTOPS main event. With the new and popular Multi-Entry format main event, an amazing 14,479 entrants paid $600 to create the largest prizepool on Full Tilt of $8,687,400.

After the negotiated deal, Hinkle went on to finish second and miss out on the gold jersey. GIAMPP took the title and $877,949.74 and the third place finisher Mads "SirMad" Amot collected $805,440.

The entire FTOPS XIX series was a big hit, largely due to the innovative Multi-Entry method of allowing players to purchase multiple entries for the same tournament.

Another highlight of the series was Scott Clements winning the $10k buy-in Heads-Up championship for nearly $300k.

Paul "paulgees81" Volpe took down the FTOPS XIX Player of the Series race with four final tables and big scores despite not winning any individual event. He also currently sits atop the 2011 Card Player Online Player of the Year (OPOY) race with 3,024 points.
