Record crowd of 151 play the $25k buy-in PCA High Roller event

The $25k buy-in PCA High Roller event kicked off Friday with an amazing field of 151 players. They created a prize pool of $3,995,500. A total of 16 players will make the money with slightly more than $1 million for first place.

William Reynolds took down the much smaller 2010 High Roller event for $546k.

Some notables noticed early in play; Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, Phil Collins, Eric Seidel, Johnny Lodden, Masa Kagawa, Scott Sevier, Jon Little, Joe Cada, Felipe Ramos, Josh Arieh, John Duthie, Pierre Neuville, Dan Kelly, Cliff Josephy, Isaac Haxton, Matt Affleck, Shannon Shorr, Nick Schulman, Justin Bonomo, Sorel Mizzi and Humberto Brenes.

Eight levels will be played Friday.
