Comscore, a top online traffic gauge, recently released their Media Metrix survey results for October.The report shows that nearly 32 million Americans visited an online poker room during the month. That is roughly one out of every ten Americans of all ages.
US online poker traffic was up 114% from September to October according to the Comscore survey.
As far as what the specific poker destination for US visitors, it was Full Tilt Poker with 4.7 million unique visitors –a 12% increase from September. Next up was PokerStars and its 2.5 million unique visitors. UB Poker and Absolute Poker –both of which operate on the Cereus Poker Network—had 1.8 million and 1.6 million unique visitors respectively. Other highly visited websites include KingLotto (1.7 million) and SportingBet PLC (1.4 million).
