Where to register for the Monster Hunter Outlanders Closed Beta Test

Players can head to the official registration page and click “Sign up for test” to start registering for the second round of the Closed Beta Test for Monster Hunter Outlanders. Those selected will receive an invitation email after registration period ends.

This playtest is limited to newer-generation mobile devices, with only Snapdragon 845 (Android 12) or higher, and iPhone XR (iOS 17) or newer devices eligible to participate. Do note that this will be a data-wipe playtest, meaning that all progress will not carry over to the official release.

By joining the Closed Beta Test, however, Capcom has promised exclusive rewards that will be redeemable upon the game’s official launch.

What is Monster Hunter Outlanders about?

Back in November 2024, Capcom announced that it was working on a mobile-only Monster Hunter spinoff titled Monster Hunter Outlanders. The studio partnered with TiMi Studio Group, known for bringing AAA titles experiences to mobile platforms, including Pokémon Unite and Call of Duty: Mobile.

Monster Hunter Outlanders aims to bring the renowned franchise to mobile devices with several major changes, such as open-world exploration, rather than having players load directly into quests. Players can gather resources and roam freely, encountering monsters in a more natural way.

The mobile spin-off will also feature multiplayer for up to four players, allowing you to hunt together with friends. Capcom will bring more live-service elements to the game, like regular updates and in-game events.

Monster Hunter Outlanders does not yet have an official release date.
