The third wave of the Fatal Fury x Street Fighter collaboration is coming on 29 February with a host of new appearances.
Fans of the fighting game genre will see more of the iconic collaboration between SNK’s Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves and Capcom’s Street Fighter. In a Collab Update Trailer, SNK unveils the third round of updates with free collaboration costumes, a new Episodes of South Town (EOST) mode, featured enemies, and more.
The third update, arriving on 29 February, will launch alongside Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ Season 2, in which a new downloadable character (DLC) Nightmare Geese joins the fray. The update can be played across all mainstream platforms: PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox X|S Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Everything coming in Fatal Fury x Street Fighter Vol. 3
Following the addition of popular sets inspired by Street Fighter’s Ken and Chun-Li in the initial rounds, SNK is bringing more alternative outfits, this time for Rock and Preecha, as SF’s Luke and Juri, respectively.
We’ll also be getting new stories for the EOST, where JP–a Street Fighter 6 villain–brainwashes the game’s protagonist Terry Bogard. It’s then up to Ken, Chun-Li, Rock, Jenet, and more fighters to stop his evil self.
But here’s the most exciting part. In this update, players will meet upon a familiar foe as SNK brings the ‘Fridge’–a powerful boss from Street Fighter 6’s World Tour Mode–as an EOST enemy. What got fighters cursing and arguing on how to defeat its OP abilities three years ago, will continue to terrorise players in Fatal Fury next week.

More content from the update include crossover skills that blend fighting mechanics from both worlds, and the addition of Kage Terry as a special boss–who will appear as a shadowy scourge.
There might be more to unpack, as fans also spotted the evil Terry performing Raging Demon–Akuma’s signature cinematic move. Some fans are also excited about the unexpected appearance of Final Fight 2’s Carlos Miyamoto.
