Battlefield 6 free trial week announced for November
Electronic Arts and developer Battlefield Studios are officially hosting a free trial for Battlefield 6, kicking off later this month. The free trial period will run for a week, though it will only feature five modes and three maps in total for everyone to try out.
Team Deathmatch, Breakthrough, Conquest, and Sabotage will be included in the free trial. As for the maps, Siege of Cairo, Eastwood, and Blackwell Fields will also be featured in the playable rotation. There’s at least one more mode included in the free trial, though EA’s official announcement has opted to stayed vague on its identity.
EA announced the free trial week alongside the release of the California Resistance update, which deployed yesterday (18 November). The update added a new suburban map set in California called Eastwood, a new Sabotage mode, a new vehicle, and more changes and fixes for existing gameplay mechanics.
This marks the middle phase of Battlefield 6 Season 1. Its final phase will begin on 9 December with the Winter Offensive update, featuring limited-time events and map updates themed after the winter season. The game’s free trial week will run from 25 November to 2 December, 2025.
