Embark Studios’ upcoming PvPvE extraction shooter ARC Raiders is set to launch tomorrow on 30 October, 2025. Ahead of its release, preloads for the game have officially gone live on almost all platforms, allowing players to instantly jump in when it launches at 9:30 AM (UTC).

ARC Raiders preload guide

The Finals developer Embark Studios’ upcoming extraction shooter game ARC Raiders is almost here, after years of anticipation for excited players. The game has garnered some buzz online thanks to its sci-fi leanings, attractive visuals, and most recently, a Server Slam that saw players jump into the game ahead of release.

Preloads for ARC Raiders went live earlier this week, allowing everyone to download the game ahead of release and jump in the second servers open up. It also allows players to make space for the game ahead of time, though it should be noted that its file sizes on all platforms are rather reasonable.

Here is how much space you’ll need to download Arc Raiders, depending on your platform of choice:

PlayStation 5: 16 GB
Xbox Series XS: 27-32 GB
PC: 29.05 GB

Players will also have to pre-order the game in order to download it ahead of time. Once you’ve pre-ordered the game, you’ll be able to see a ‘Preload’ option on its store page. Simply click on that to install the game, and wait until launch day to begin playing.

There is a small caveat, however–preloads for the game are currently unavailable on the Epic Games Store, and will instead be available to download on that platform starting from 10.30am CET, 30 October, 2025.

ARC Raiders system requirements for PC

Before you preload ARC Raiders on PC, you might want to check if your rig is up to par. Thankfully, the game’s minimum and recommended PC specs are quite reasonable, with a recommended RTX 2070 and 16 GB of RAM needed to run the game adequately.
