The upcoming Marvel Comics beat-’em-up game has a release date.
Game developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu have finally announced a release date for their upcoming Marvel Comics-themed beat-’em-up video game: Marvel Cosmic Invasion. The game will officially launch on 1 December, 2025.
Its final two playable characters have also been confirmed: Iron Man and Phoenix.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge developer Tribute Games now has its sights set on another beat-’em-up based on a popular IP. Marvel Cosmic Invasion follows iconic superheroes like Wolverine, Nova, and Storm as they attempt to stop the Annihilation Wave from destroying the galaxy.
The heroes will battle Annihilus’ forces across levels set in New York City, the Negative Zone, and more. The game also features retro-style pixel art and sidescrolling gameplay, calling back to classic arcade beat-’em-ups like Streets of Rage.
Two new heroes have been announced to round out Marvel Cosmic Invasion’s playable roster of 15 characters: Iron Man and Phoenix. Here’s the full roster at launch:

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is officially launching on 1 December, 2025, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
