Loki and Psylocke won’t be the only Marvel Rivals characters to get swimsuit skins.
NetEase Games has unveiled the first two additions to its highly-anticipated line of summer-themed Marvel Rivals swimsuit skins. Breezy Butterfly Psylocke and Robe of Relaxation Loki skins will arrive in the in-game shop later this week, hopping right out of the pages of this year’s Marvel Comics Swimsuit Special.
Both skins will launch on 17 July.
Marvel Rivals adds Psylocke and Loki swimsuit skins
Marvel Comics previously teased that upcoming summer-themed skins for Marvel Rivals heroes would show up in this year’s issue of the annual Marvel Comics Swimsuit Special. Pages from the comicbook were then leaked, confirming swimsuit skins for Thor, the Punisher, Psylocke, Loki, and Luna Snow.
Now, these skins are finally coming to Marvel Rivals–though they’re arriving a little earlier than planned, considering the developer had revealed a Summer Party event would kick off at the end of the week, via a Season 3 roadmap. It’s likely that the planned swimsuit skins for Thor, the Punisher, and Luna Snow will arrive then.
On 17 July, however, players are getting swimsuit skins for Psylocke and Loki. Psylocke is wearing a green-and-purple one-piece swimsuit, with a sheer pink top. Loki has predictably dressed up rather than down for the grand occasion of a beach visit, wearing a slick green-and-gold bathrobe, a massive sun hat, pink sunglasses, and a speedo.
Marvel Rivals announced the two skins with a Twitter/X post, saying:
Shine brighter than the summer sun! Loki and Psylocke arrive in style with new summer looks–one divine, the other deadly. Whether you're chasing mischief or peace, do it fabulously.
Prices for the Breezy Butterfly Psylocke and Robe of Relaxation Loki skins have not been released as of the time of writing, but they’re likely to fall in line with other Legendary or Epic skins. That would bring them into the range of 1,000–2,000 Units in price.
