Here’s how you can pick up a free symbiote-themed skin for Storm in Marvel Rivals Season 3.
Marvel Rivals has typically flooded players with a bevy of colourful skins for its playable heroes season after season, and its upcoming third season of content is looking to keep that going. Developer NetEase Games has announced that players will be able to earn a Symbiote Storm skin for free in Marvel Rivals Season 3 at launch.
A cosmetic bundle for upcoming hero Phoenix is also coming to the game’s shop.
Here’s how you can get Symbiote Storm for free in Marvel Rivals Season 3
Marvel Rivals is kicking off its seasonal offering of free skins with Symbiote Storm in Season 3. Starting from this season’s launch date of 11 July, you’ll be able to claim the Storm skin, plus a few additional cosmetics, simply by participating in the upcoming Milano Repair Logs limited-time event.
Like previous events, players will have to complete event missions to unlock items in the event, ending with the Symbiote Storm skin itself. Other cosmetics included in the event are an MVP animation and a new emote. Be sure to check off these tasks when Season 3 goes live, or risk missing out on free rewards.
Paid Chaos Phoenix cosmetic bundle announced
Marvel Rivals Season 3 is adding Phoenix as its first new playable hero (with Blade soon to follow in Season 3.5). The hero is also getting her own premium cosmetic bundle at launch: the Chaos Phoenix cosmetic set.
Legendary cosmetic bundles typically cost roughly 2,200 Units as a set, including a skin and various tie-in cosmetics. It’s likely that the Chaos Phoenix set will be priced the same, though an exact price has not been revealed. NetEase describes the cosmetic bundle as such:
"The perfect fusion of Phoenix Force and Chaos Magic gives rise to an unprecedented harmonious cycle, reminiscent of the endless interplay of yin and yang in the cosmos."
Marvel Rivals Season 3 launches on 11 July, 2025.
