Black Shrew Esports and Nova Esports have secured playoff qualification in MKL Spring 2025 Week 4.
Black Shrew Esports and Nova Esports have secured playoff spots in the MY Honor of Kings League (MKL) Spring 2025 Week 4. Black Shrew Esports successfully defeated O2 Esports and Team Secret along the week. Nova Esports unfortunately lost their win streak to O2 Esports before decimating Soul Esports on the third day. With their two wins in Week 4 and Nova Esports' loss, Black Shrew Esports took over the top spot because of Game Difference (GD).
With two spots already taken, four spots were left for playoff qualification in MKL Spring 2025. All six teams besides Black Shrew Esports and Nova Esports were still in contention to get a spot in the playoff. However, only four teams from the six have a realistic chance of advancing to the next stage. They are: All Gamers Global, O2 Esports, DTE Gaming, and Team Secret.
Here are the MY Honor of Kings League Spring 2025 standings after the end of Week 3:

- Nova Esports (7-0) +12 GD
- AG Global (6-3) +4 GD
- O2 Esports (5-5) +0 GD
- DTE Gaming (5-4) -2 GD
- Team Secret (3-6) -4 GD
- TODAK (1-8) -10 GD
- Soul Esports (1-9) -15 GD
The end for TODAK and Soul Esports?
TODAK and Soul Esports are currently stranded in seventh and eighth place in the MKL Spring 2025 after the end of Week 4. Both teams have only won one tournament so far. TODAK won over Soul Esports in the first week, while the rock-bottom team took it from DTE Gaming in Week 2. However, those wins might not be enough for them to secure a playoff spot.
In Week 5, Soul Esports will go against Team Secret and AG Global, while TODAK will go against Team Secret and Nova Esports. Even if both teams got two victories in the week, one win by Team Secret will put them on a lifeline, because the currently sixth-placed team only need one more win to be out of reach by both of them. However, if Team Secret got two victories in the week, then only TODAK have a shot in playoffs, by miraculously winning every single match they play on Week 5 and Week 6.
