Vega's perfect run gives the sharks the coveted SL i-League LAN spot

Vega Squadron's perfect run gave the CIS team the highly coveted SL iLeague LAN spot where they will fight for a piece of the $100,000 prize pool in Shanghai, China at the end of May.

The new Vega Squadron is looking to be a tough nut to crack for their opponents. With a perfect run through the SL iLeague LAN qualifiers for the CIS and EU region, have absolutely shellacked all three of their opponents. Taking down Elements Pro Gaming was just an appetizer for the sharks. Moving onto bigger fish, they devoured Comanche. They found themselves a seat at the grand finals and continued to feed on their adversaries.

Ilya 'Alohadance' Korobkin was unstoppable with a perfect game on Timbersaw and continued to shred things up in the following two games as well. It was abundently clear the new roster was functioning noticeably better. Flashes of promising talent, boosted by superlative performances, are already writing a new and different story for the Vega organization than was told the last few months.

The revamped CIS team couldn't hope for a better start to their new season together.

After dropping their entire squad, except captain and support player  Semion "CemaTheSlayer" Krivulya, a week later Vega was rebuilt including  Ilya 'Alohadance' Korobkin, Sergey 'G' Bragin, Vasily 'Afterlife' Shishkin, Airat 'Silent' Gaziev for the DreamLeague Season 7. The very next day, the team began their journey together with a strong start - exuding confidence and promise in the DreamLeague qualifiers as they trampled over both Team Spirit and Effect to gain their place in the League season.
