The Ninjas in Pyjamas have been revealed as the fifth invited team to IEM Oakland.
IEM Oakland will take place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on the weekend of November 19th and will feature twelve teams, 8 of which have yet to be announced. Additionally, IEM Oakland will use the following format, which is identical to IEM Katowice:

The Ninjas in Pyjamas have been quiet following their apparent return-to-form with the addition of Jacob "pyth" Mourujärvi, with their last notable placement being their first-place victory against Natus Vincere at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016. In the ensuing four month span NiP has been hit hard, going out in the groups at the most recent major, ESL One Cologne 2016, as well a less than stellar 5th-8th finish in the ELEAGUE season one finals. The Ninjas have shown their potential with this line-up however, and will be looking to step it up in Oakland.
