HOT is a brand new e-sports organization. Their main goal is holding events at a serious level. Their first event? A 3 versus 3 tournament that should be something to look forward to in the future.
Nowadays, they are negotiating with potential sponsors to bring a small echo of progaming to Brood War scene. Unluckily for you, HOT is going to start with an amateur tournament without prizes. Money is a matter of time, as time is the last thing you should be worrying about, that goes the same for money. I bet that the HOT crew will be presenting its squad, sponsors and official website by the end of February.
As mentioned they are going to organize an amateur tournament. What is it? You may be surprised by this one. It's 3vs3 World Championship. I know what you think. It seems to be at least extraordinary, but that is what makes it so much fun. Anyway, why not to prepare this kind of competition? 3vs3 isn't supported enough by tournament organizers. HOT is going to try to sway them and change everything!
Who can take part in 3vs3 World Championship? Well, to avoid huge amount of gamers our tournament is dedicated to official national teams so only the team leaders are allowed to register teams (1 nation = 1 team). Of course, HOT can use some wildcards... and we'll leave that at that.
How to register? Send an e-mail to [email protected]. When sending the email you must include the following; your name, nickname, e-mail, MSN/ICQ, website of your national team.
Rules & tournament page will be released soon. 3vs3 World Championship should begin in the end of January. More information will come this Sunday, hopefully, along with the BETA version of the website.
