The thirteenth season of StarLadder's StarSeries has just kicked-off with only a few matches being played so far. Certainly, in the spotlight was match played between Team Kinguin and undefined (ex-CPH Wolves). However, StarLadder has just announced that Team Solomid will be withdrawing from their tournament due to the tight schedule.

We have postponed the start of the match for Team SoloMid to 20th of May, and today, after the announcement of exams' dates, team manager Frederik Byskov contacted us and said that unfortunately the examinations scheduled for the date of the LAN-finals, namely June 19 - Friday and Monday - May 22. This means that Team SoloMid will not have time to travel to Kiev, and was replaced by another rather good Norwegian team - LGB Esports. We wish Team SoloMid successful completion of the exams and look forward to their participation in the next season of SLTV StarSeries, as we wish a successful season for new-comers - LGB. - was said in the official statement made by StarLadder.

Team Solomid has been performing on their top level recently, taking titles at CCS and FACEIT LAN finals. However, it's also well known that besides gaming their players are actively going to university as well. So, due to the schedule conflicts between National exams which are scheduled for the same dates as SLTV StarSeries XIII LAN finals, Team Solomid had to cancel their participation at this tournament.

Following this denouement StarLadder has already made talks with the Norwegian side, LGB eSports who will be replacing the Danish team and taking on their spot in Group C.
