Complexity buys ROOT

A team that has been around since the BETA of StarCraft 2 has finally decided to stop fighting for sponsors. ROOT-Gaming has been a major force in the StarCraft 2 community without having any major backings for at least 90% of their existence. That has all now changed, minus a few things.

The announcement came earlier today, and is probably one of the biggest surprises that's team related since EG grabbed IdrA months upon months ago. Though it's not all just a simple merge between the two teams, two of ROOTS players did not join up and they're current status for a team is unknown.

As you can see, the new Complexity is quite a scary looking team though they really lack Terran. Hopefully with this move we can see a player like drewbie go from being a top North American Terran, to a position where he's considered best in the world.

Though the news isn't quite done, there might be two names you noticed that weren't mentioned in the merge. Canada KiWiKaKi and Canada Slush decided to not make the move, nothing has been stated as to why quite yet. Though the rumor mill is going crazy with FXO, Dignitas and Liquid being the most commonly thrown around team.

Only time will tell what happens with this, but what we can say is good luck to the new Complexity team, and to KiWi and Slush wherever you go.
