The two GSL May finalists NesTea and InCa sit down for a chit-chat with Playxp.com to discuss each other and their thoughts on the upcoming final. Their coaches also join the discussion and share opinions on the opposing team and their players' practice patterns.

Confidence and smack talk pour from this interview as the God of Zerg NesTea and the PvP maestro InCa comment their future battle. After expressing their emotions about reaching the finals, it doesn't take long for both players to start pulling other's nerves.

NesTea: I am a bit worried. I am not sure if InCa can match up to my level of play… I think he may be an opponent too easy for the finals. I guess I can just think my finals already happened against sC.

InCa: I have been mostly preparing and researching builds on my own for the finals. Since Nestea barely scraped by sC it may come off as overconfidence but…, if I had played that match, I would have come out with a 3:0 score.

After some short talk about the latest patch 1.3.3 and how it will affect the final series, InCa is being asked to comment the weakness of his PvZ play in terms of previous losses.

InCa:Three of those losses came on a 6 pool, and once I lost on a cannon rush failure. I lost those in a cheesy way so I don’t think you can count those to say my PvZ skill is lacking. The reason such saying as the “Inca Rule” came about back in closed beta was because I was able to defeat zergs even when protosses could not defeat overpowered zergs. Since I was able to do beat zergs then I don’t think it will be difficult for me to win now. It’s just because I haven’t had good luck in that matchup for a while. I believe it is possible for me to win.

As the interview talk goes back to the topic of balance in PvZ, the finalists comment both the current map pool and the races themselves.

InCa: Against good players, I don’t think protoss are favored at all on these maps. Every time I read or listen to Nestea’s interviews, I always wonder why he feigns weakness. There are a variety of strategies and the data suggests that zergs are definitely not weak on these maps. If there are any problems, it is the fault of the zerg players not the map balance.

NesTea: To be honest, to play protoss is ridiculously simple. I know I have qqed plenty before, but in the teamhouse practice, I hardly lose to them. I don’t know why we (as a race) are losing to them so much. Maybe Inca will show me some of those reasons.

The interview goes on for a while and indeed features words that are worth reading, including players' predictions on the final score, their coaches' thoughts on the opposing team and the skill gap between different players as well as what NesTea and InCa want and like to do with their earnings.
