ESPN2 To Air PCA Main Event Final Table Live

For the first time ever, the PCA main event final table will be televised using high definition with hole cards shown on a one-hour, unedited delay, Saturday, Jan. 15, beginning at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN3.com with ESPN2 HD joining with a simulcast at 10 p.m.

James Hartigan and David Tuchman will share the play-by-play role throughout the evening on ESPN3.com and ESPN2, joined by four-time WSOP bracelet winner and two-time World Poker Tour Champion Daniel Negreanu and 2003 WSOP champion Chris Moneymaker, if he isn't still playing, providing analysis in the booth. Michelle Orpe will provide roving reports.

On the TV portion on ESPN2HD, ESPN will have a studio set at a poker event with host Lon McEachern and analyst David Williams, providing analysis, player interviews and match highlights throughout the evening.

“For the first time viewers at home will see a poker telecast from start to finish, including hole cards and completely unedited, revealing all of the strategy, angst and competition of world-class poker players,” said Matt Volk, ESPN manager programming and acquisitions.

The final table will be playing for the lion's share of the $15.132 prize pool, with the $2.3 million first prize and $1.8 second place prize the two most coveted. Only 48 remained on Wednesday, Day four of the PCA main event.

Numerous other events are currently also running in the 48 tourney series at the Atlantis Hotel and Resort in the Bahamas.
