FARM4FAME returns!

Its been a very dry period for the European DotA scene, since the Razer Global Challenge ended. WDC attenders trained in private, while those who stayed at home disappeared from the Inhouse Leagues. This intermission will end soon however as DotA-League, one of the European scene's biggest caretakers over the last years, announced the revival of their most prestigious and highly anticapated tournament series. FARM4FAME 3 is currently in planning and will commence in January next year!

Although the previous editions didnt leave much to be desired, a few changes and community requests are put into practice. The main structure will stay untouched, marking the familiar five tournaments with a relegation and playoffs for the top four. What stays as well is the amount of competing teams (16) per tournament, as well as prize pool and distribution.

The qualification system, marking the main part which came up insufficient in previous encounters, will get an extensive rework. Newcomers had a hard time entering the competition against established teams, which lost motivation or went inactive, thus dont deserve the spot anymore. Further announcements, featuring details about the system to follow soon. What will change as well is the ranking, which rewards victories in the finals stronger, in comparison to the first and second series.

Overall, a lot of top class DotA action on a regular base, accentuated by as much live commentary as possible lies ahead of us. The timeframe is set between January and June/July next year, so stay tuned for much more coverage on both GosuGamers and DotA-League!
