NA and Canadian squads withdraw from the WESG Regional LAN finals

Unfortunately,  NA and Canadian teams have to withdraw from the LAN-finals of WESG America held in Brazil due to the visa issues.

Due to the political disagreements, the American players can not get a visa to travel to Sao Paolo, Brazil. The LAN-finals will be held on October 21 - 23, overlapping with the first day of the Boston Major open qualifiers starting on October 23rd. Of the twelve qualified teams, four are Canadian or NA and thus, only eight of them will have the chance to fight for the six spots in the WESG Global Grand Finals from Shanghai.

Unfortunately, due to the strikes and problems with the Brazilian embassies within the territory of USA and Canada, who have clearly indicated their position after the Olympic Games, held in Rio; the winners of the WESG online qualifiers in the regions of USA and Canada won’t be able to attend the tournament in Brazil.”

Team NP, Yonge & Finch, BuLba + 4 (Peter ‘ppd’ Dager,  Avery ‘SVG’ Silverman, Arif ‘MSS’ Anwar, Eric ‘747’ Dong and Ravindu ‘Ritsu’ Kodippili) and Ixmike92 will not be attending after qualifying in their regional events.
