April comes, March leaves...

Only a few days since MVP.Phoenix's historical win at the Dota Pit LAN finals, MVP.P's substitute player, March, has announced he will be leaving the squad for mandatory military service.?

During an interview at TI5, Taewon 'March' Park revealed that TI5 would be his last TI due to his obligation to serve the Korean army. He stayed on MVP.P's main roster until the post-Frankfurt Major reshuffle, where he moved to the substitue role. Now, as the Shanghai Major roster lock deadline comes closer, March has revealed that as of the 11 April 2016 he will be entering the army for two years.

Although March has enjoyed less success than the players currently on the MVP.P's main roster, he is a capable player. March was MVP.P's captain since the early days of the team in 2013 - when they were little more than a nameless Korean team taking part in the Nexon sponsorship league - and has been with the team to their 7th-8th place finish at TI5.

One of the biggest questions regarding March's departure will be how it affects MVP.P. Currently, March does not play a direct part in MVP.P's performance, only being able to give strategic advice to the team out of the game. Considering this, his departure will probably not have an immediate impact on MVP.P but may hinder the team from quickly figuring out the upcoming 6.87 patch.
