Summer's Rift removes BSJ and DragonFirst following TI5 NA open qualifier loss

Following their loss in The International 5 American open qualifiers, Summer's Rift has removed their carry Brian 'BananaSlamJamma' Canavan and new recruit DragonFist from the team.

According to Jimmy 'Demon' Ho on his stream earlier today, Summer's Rift is going through a state of reformation but Braxton 'Brax' Paulson, Bryant 'Whitebeard' Lehwald and himself will stay in the team. The reason for the removal of BananaSlamJamma and DragonFirst was not disclosed.

With that said, Ho stated that they are currently looking for new players, specifically offlane and carry players considering Paulson will be moving back to the solo middle lane. Ho also said that Mark 'Tralf' Seidl will be standing in for the team from tomorrow onwards.

We have reached out to Paulson for a comment but he has nothing to say over the issue.

Summoner's Rift will be playing in joinDOTA MLG League Season 2 in Austin, Texas on 5-7 June. For more information on that tournament, head on over to the coverage hub.

Current Summer's Rift roster:
