The lan event for the i-League finals will end tomorrow. It will feature a best of five between LGD and HGT, the two teams that made it to the finals after the playoffs, having bested teams such as Vici Gaming and IG.
After a short break, i-League #2 will finally finish up with the lan finals taking place tomorrow in Shanghai. It will feature a best of five between HyperGloryTeam and LGD Gaming, two teams that had played consistently well throughout the playoffs. The winner of this best of five will recieve $50,000 from the base prize pool and the loser will recieve $20,000 from it.
Judging from the playoff results, LGD seems to be the favorites going into this after their dominating performance against HGT, destroying them 2-0. However, HGT after being sent to the loser's bracket, they proved that they are not a team to be underestimated, managing to take down the defending champion Vici Gaming a second time in the playoffs. Only time will tell if HGT will be able to upset LGD or if LGD will be able to repeat their pass feat and take down HGT with ease.
