Details relating to the Chinese qualifiers for The International 2014 has been revealed and according to the information, the qualifiers will be held at a 5 star Long Wish Hotel International.
Perfect World is going the extra mile regarding The International 2014 Chinese qualifiers, as it has revealed that the qualifiers will be held at the Long Wish Hotel International, Jiangyin, a hotel built with investments worth 3 billion Yuan (~500 million USD).
The competition will be split into two phases; online and offline. All the participants will be staying at the hotel for the entirety of the event and will compete from their rooms in the early stages of the qualifiers. The play-offs, however, will be played on stage and be open to visitors wanting to experience first hand Dota 2 action.
During the competition, the organizers have also invited the most celebrated Chinese Dota casters. The live casting will be held in the grand ball room of the hotel with famed casters such as BBC, DC, LongDD, 820, xiao8mm, XX, Zhou, and Zippo will provide the much needed commentary until the qualifiers conclude.
The Chinese qualifiers are scheduled to begin on May 20th and will run its course until May 23rd, 2014, wherein we'll witness two teams punching their tickets to Seattle.
UPDATE:
After the qualifiers conclude, the top 2 seeds will join DK, VG, iG and NewBee in MarsTV Dota 2 League (MDL Huaxi Cup International) held at the same location from May 24th to 25th. Tickets will be available for purchase for 100/400/800 Yuan respectively which includes various facilities such as in-game items/meals/rooms. The ticket holders will be able to access the venue whilst non-ticket holders will have to watch the games via LED screen setups.
