Due to visa application issues to Kiev for Starseries Season 9, DK and IG will both implement substitutes for their respective matches against Titan tomorrow in the WPC-ACE League.
The two Chinese giants were the two teams that qualified from the Chinese StarSeries Season IX to attend the LAN finals in Kiev from 17 - 20 April. As such, both teams will be missing their respective foreign players in their first matches of WPC-ACE League tomorrow, as they have returned home to their respective countries to apply for their visas.
IG will be missing Chuan, while DK will be missing three members - LaNm, iceiceice and Mushi. Although LaNm is Chinese, he faces some problems with his visa after losing his wallet on his way home, resulting in some complications that have delayed his return to Shanghai.
Chuan will be replaced by SanSheng from Tongfu, while three members of Spg.CN will step up to replace the galaticos of DK - Jdh, Zy and Zrd will be the replacements from Spg.CN. The replacements have been approved by ACE, and will be only for this match against Titan.
The substitutions were forced to be made because Titan has only been contracted to play for a week in China, and they will be returning to Malaysia soon after their matches tomorrow. Due to this scheduling issues, there was little choice but to get substitutions for the missing players.
Titan is scheduled to play against both the Chinese giants tomorrow in back to back matches, with going against DK first at 11.30 CET, followed by Invictus Gaming at 14.00 CET. The Malaysian team has not fared too well as of late, having gotten 2-0 victories against most of the tier 2 teams, but failing to make a real impact against the tier 1 teams in China.
