WePlay Dota2 Grand Final on Sunday

The WePlay DotaLeague #2 will conclude this Sunday, with an epic showdown between Na`Vi and Alliance in a yet another reprise of The International 3 grand finals.

There are two teams which clearly define the top of western Dota 2 and prove their definition rights time after time by constantly run into each other in finals of various events. It is starting to feel more and more like the "el clasico" of Dota. Na`Vi will look to avenge their loss, having been knocked down to the Loser's Bracket by Alliance in the Winner's Bracket finals. There will not be any advantage for Alliance as Winner's Bracket finalists going into the Grand Finals.

This matchup mirrors the last grand final both teams participated in, at the LAN finals of StarLadder Season 7 where Alliance beat Na`Vi 2-0 in the winner's bracket final, before going down to Na`Vi 3-2 in the Grand Final despite having a one game advantage. It is also a similar to The International in early August, where the two teams bounced off each other both in the Winner Bracket finals and in the Grand Final. One can only look forward for more amazing Dota to be played this Sunday when these two teams lock horns once again.

The best of five series will be played online, at 20:00 CET on 10 November 2013. Place your branches on the match here. The series will be casted in English by Beyond the Summit,

As seen above, Alliance are currently running on a hot streak ever since losing to Fnatic in DreamLeague (the match prior to the one vs Virtus.pro). They have been using very Alliancesqe drafts but with some slick adjustments to fit into the most recent patch, meaning a few different picks and some minor twists to the laning phases. They still rely on their well-oiled team engine, great communication and superb positioning. Natus Vincere has always been the team more likely to change things up, relying more on their immensly skilled individuals to deliver and outperform the opponents. Their play style and dynamics causes them to drop a game here and there but their potential is huge and they are known to bring their A-game in the big matches such as this one.

GosuGamers is also working with Datbet for the coverage of the WePlay Dota 2 tournament. The betting competition ended October 31 and winners will be announced soon.
