As the first post-TI3 tournament in the Chinese scene, NEST( National Electronic Sports Tournament) is kicking off this Sunday. The tournament consists of 5 seperate events, with the Dota 2 event featuring Rstars, LGD, iG, VG, DK, Rsnake as well as Tongfu.
A total of 128 teams will participate in the online groupstage of this event. They have been divided into 4 groups, each group consisting of 32 teams including 2 of the featured teams. The groupstage will be in single elimination format, and top 2 teams from each group will advance into the LAN grand finals in November, with prize pool yet to be announced.
Dota 2 Event Schedule:
1st Sept - Round 1 and Round 2 (BO1)
5th Sept - Round 3 (BO3)
9th Sept - Round 4
13th Sept - Semis and 3rd place decider
14th Sept - Grand final

From the brackets, you can see that all the top Chinese teams including roster-troubled LGD, DK and iG are joining the tournament. This may means that their roster will be finalized before the tournament kicks off on the 1st.
