Trixi and H4nn1 dropping by Philippines for MSI Beat It!

MSI Beat It! will have its Philippine Grand Finals for Dota 2 this coming 31st of August until the 1st of September. Fnatic.EU's Trixi and H4nn1 will be gracing the event as special guests.

The competition will be held on the tech hub of the country's biggest shopping mall, SM North Edsa's Cyberzone, and the main event offers a prize pool of PHP 60,000 (~$1,345). While the pot is nowhere The International 3's nor any other major offline event, the cash prize is already good enough to be the second best-paying Dota 2 tournament in the Philippines thus far. The Pinoy Gaming Festival's Summer Assembly held last May tops the list, with around $1,750 given away.

The participating teams are:

Philippines MSI-EvoGT.TnC
Philippines Dreamz.Ledion
Philippines AMD.Mineski
Philippines Pacific
Philippines Tirador
Philippines Tong-U
Philippines Flow
Philippines Gangster

The event will also feature an all-star showmatch, wherein ten fan-vote decided players will be competing against each other. Fnatic.EU's 2 and 3 position player in H4nn1 and Trixi respectively will be joining in the all-star battle, summing it up to twelve players on this exhibition game. It is still unknown whether Fnatic's players will play or will coach separate teams.

Trixi and H4nn1 will also compete on a two-versus-two showmatch against a pair of Filipino players, which will be determined via Facebook votes. Currently leading the poll is the Mineski duo of Jhoven and Bimbo.

MSI Beat It! will be open to the public, and the fans will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Fnatic's General Manager, Danijiel Remus, encourages the local fans to participate on the event, and he kindly provided us with this message:

If you are in Manila and need an advise from these two, want to chill with them or just go head-to-head in game, drop by!

The teams who are competing on the Grand Finals have either won through the six different offline qualifiers or the online and wildcard online tournament. Dota 2 is just one of the eight games being contested on this LAN event.
