TI3 Day Two: Summary of playtime #4, LGD.Int big jump to 5th place

Group B

In playtime #4, LGD.Int took a huge leap from 7th placing to 5th placing after they surprised TongFu with their ultra aggression in early game. As a result from winning 2-0 against TongFu, LGD.Int is now one placing above TongFu while TongFu fell to 6th place. Besides that, iG also tied against NeoES.Orange and retained their share of the second placing in Group B.

As always, Alliance is still undefeated. The Swedes have also guaranteed themselves a spot in the upper bracket of the playoffs.

GameResultsMatch info
Orange vs iGMatch tied 1-1The reigning champs pulled ahead early in game one with the Bounty Hunter, but a good base defend and some great Batrider play allowed Orange to make a comeback and take the game. Orange opted for a solo mid Lone Druid in game two to go up against the OD, but he got ganked before level 6 and fell behind quickly. Good coordination allowed iG to pick up kill after kill and ended the game with a perfect killscore 8-0.
LGD.Int vs TongFuLGD.Int won 2-0Tongfu, favourite for the match-up, caved under LGD.Int's enormous global pressure in game one and lost the game from the get-go. LGD.Int took a while to force the gg after choking TongFu in their base for 20 minutes. In the second game, LGD.Int opted for a gank-oriented line-up and was once again off to a good start after a 3-man RP on the bottom lane. LGD fought back, finding many pick-offs until LGD.Int got in shape again, basically pulling off more spectacular RPs.
VP vs RsnakeMatch tied 1-1After a an even mid game, RattleSnake pulled ahead and the damage was lacking in VP's line-up, they got run over in the later stage by RattleSnake's tanky heroes. In the second game, Virtus.pro played very aggressive and took the lead early. However, RattleSnake took it back later on and the game was even for a long time. Eventually VP claimed the win after Icy got caught out without buyback.
Liquid vs AllianceAlliance won 2-0Game one between Liquid and Alliance was more or less settled before the creep spawn as Alliance took down three heroes to take a commanding lead in the trilane. Liquid picked Spirit Breaker in game two but that did not work out as they have planned. Alliance, with their ultra aggression style of playing grouped up very early on to take down towers and make sure they don't get picked off.
