Mineski takes down MiTH.Trust in the grand final of GEST to be crowned the champion of GEST July. This is also the first time three Pinoy teams made it this far into the tournament.

With the TI3 invitees all sitting out for this month's GEST, the Pinoy teams made a deep run for the gold and at the end of the day, it was Mineski who came up on top of the pack, beating former GEST winner MiTH.Trust 3-1.

Mineski went undefeated in their Group C and moved on to the playoffs to face First Departure. Mineski took a relatively easy win against the Singaporeans and moved on to the semi-finals where they faced their fellow countrymen Pacific. Well-rested with the quick games yesterday, Mineski took on MiTH and pulled off trademark Pinoy crazy strats to win the July edition of GEST.

With only four teams remaining, in which three of them are from the Philippines, MiTH.Trust denied the all-Pinoy finals and defeated  Dreamz to proceed to the grand final. Unable to defend their earlier groupstage against MiTH, Dreamz brought MiTH to three games before they finally accepted defeat.

This is the first time in GEST 2013 that a Filipino team made it this far into the tournament.

Mineski will win $1,000 in cash while MiTH settles for $500.
