mousesports has announced their new fifth player after Alex tweeted yesterday that he had to leave the team. Danish player syndereN will join the team and play support. GosuGamers took the chance to ask him a few questions about the new team and their chances at the The International 3 Qualifier, assuming they get invited.

After yesterday's surprising tweet by Alex stating he had been dropped from mousesports, the organisation announced today that Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen will be joining them.

Ever since syndereN's most recent team Re-Defining Madness disbanded some months ago, he has been teamless and was frequently seen standing in for Fnatic.EU and Absolute Legends. With The International 3 Qualifiers approaching and some internal problems in the old mouz roster, an opportunity opened for syndereN.

mouz' Black^ and the Danish player have played DotA together under the banner of Online Kingdom and placed 6th at 2010's ESWC. syndereN is also not new to the German organisation as he played for mousesports in 2009 among players like Drayich and Fire.

New mousesports roster:

Germany Adrian "FATA-" Trinks
Germany Dominik "Black^" Reitmeier
Germany Pascal "paS" Lohmeier
Germany Max "qojqva" Broecker
Denmark Troels "syndereN" Nielsen

Interview with syndereN

GosuGamers got the opportunity to talk to syndereN and ask him some questions about the team and The International 3.

Hey syndereN, congratulations for re-joining the competitive scene. It has been some months since your former team Re-Defining Madness disbanded. What have you been doing since then?

Thanks! It's good to be back and competing again. Since then, I've kept playing and finished some things at university.

How did you end up in the German team mousesports?

Black^ contacted me; he was interested in playing with me, and a spot opened in mouz. It's good to be back with my old friend from back in the day, and I'm ready to give it everything I can in the TI3 qualifiers!

The teams for the Western Qualfiers will be announced tomorrow. It can be assumed that mousesports will be granted a spot. How will you guys prepare for the qualifier, who will play which role?

We'll be practicing a lot, just like every other team. Practice is going well so far already. The players are very talented; I think the answer as to why mouz hasn't been more successful can be found in the bigger strategic decision-making in the games. I'm hoping to be able to help out a lot in that regard through drafting, captaining and supporting.

Who do you think will be the other teams in the Western Qualifier and who is the strongest competitor?

EG, Empire, RoX.KIS, aL, QPAD, DD and Kaipi. I'd say RoX and EG are the strongest competitants right now at least, but depending on their preparation, everyone can be a threat.

Thank you for the interview!
