12. Kaci wins Western Washington Best Local TV Personality Award
Kaci, who is an anchor for Q13 FOX News This Morning, was a fantastic addition to The International 3 as a co-host. She brought a whole new level of professionalism, and was very receptive and friendly towards the gaming community and players despite not having any prior knowledge of Dota 2 before the event.
Huge thanks to the awesome peeps in the @Dota2 community and @q13fox viewers! Saffy T. Cat just wants down. pic.twitter.com/rNdJJfUwlP

11. DeMoN's culture shock
DeMoN's trip to Korea as the solo mid for MVP Phoenix made him discover that every culture eats their hamburgers a little differently.
I think I've seen it all. First @TheMaelk eating a burger with knife and fork. Now a member from MVP eating it with chopsticks... #MindBlown

10. Maelk's shooting ship
Bruno, a host known for his outlandish and flamboyant wardrobe, couldn't help but but wonder about Maelk's tie when the Danish was co-host of the Raidcall EMS One LAN finals.
Loving your tie @TheMaelk ! :D I also wonder, if the space invaders are in your tie, your shooting ship is in the crotch area?

After much public pressure during MLG, GoDz has finally set a date for his long awaited Enchantresss cosplay appearance at the ACG Grand Final in Singapore. GoDz will be casting with Toby, which is only fitting since he lost the original bet to his fellow countryman.

6. Volvo delivers Ranked Matchmaking
For a long time, the Dota 2 community has demanded ranked matchmaking, but was constantly denied since personal ratings tend to prove toxic, especially in MOBA games, leading to flaming and an overall negative player experience. However, Valve is finally caving in, although reluctantly so.

The most hyped match in the first phase of the Nexon Sponsorship League Season 2 playoffs was without a doubt MVP Phoenix versus fOu, with both teams importing a foreign celebrity - Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho and William 'Blitz' Lee - to play the solo mid role.

1. rOtk roars in Europe
Much hype surrounded rOtk's impending arrival in Poland after Vici Gaming replaced DK (with the latter running into some visa issues) as China's representative at Raidcall EMS one. rOtk is infamous for his loud and aggressive trashtalking at Chinese LAN tournaments and he did not disppoint. His battlecry struck fear in all his opponents and spurred Vici Gaming go on to win their second straight tournament.
