Team SWE Line up

[s]teamswe[/s]It's finally here! The new line up for the Swedish national team! After a long period of discussing, replay watching and thinking, we have now managed to come up with a line up that just might be as good and we have been hoping for.

Primary 1on1 line up
TreK
Fredik has been a member of the national team for ages. He has been around since the world began in '98, and recently been winning, winning and winning. TreK is a non-doubtable key player in the national team.

SaFT
The Swedish representative in World Cyber Games 2003. We hope that he will keep the motivation, because his Protoss is not to fuck with.

KeNKa
KeNKa has, as many of the other players in the current team, been in the elite for a very long time. He scared some of us to death when he said he was resigning, but we got him back. What would we do without him?

"If u play vs me and im red or blue terran u probably lost bad."

Daaman
Another top player in the Swedish Brood War history. A member of Team Liquid and pro-gaming.de, a given player in the team.

WiLLEt
The last minute savior! Always there when we need him... Almost. There's one unique thing with this guy: he managed to fall asleep just as one match versus Poland was starting, 15.00 on a Sunday. He wasn't reachable again until the Monday, and told me he had slept the whole time. As we say on Battle.net, gw m8!

U.F.O
This guy totally lacks merits in event results. He has hardly been participating in any bigger league or tournament, and he is not seen as one of the 'absolutely best players' in Sweden, but still there's something special with this guy. What started out as a just a 2-0 match, ended up with a winning streak of 5 games in a row for us, and his streaks are a key source for the team's performance.

Dealer
Been around for a long time. Qualified for the Swedish B team but is now promoted back by me to where he belongs, in the A team - of course.

WhiZ
WhiZ, the player with "heaps of Starcraft boxes in his room", according to a local press magazine. He is not only a good PvT-player, he is also leading the foreigner KBK league at the moment.

Reserves 1on1
JessE
JessE represented Sweden in WCG 2001, too bad he plays as much Counter-Strike that he does and doesn't have time for 1on1. Still a great reserve and he was probably playing Battle.net before most of us were even born...

DeliCato
Together with TreK from the Pure Luck clan, this zerg has been kicking lots of serious butt during his time on Battle.net. He is not only a reserve for the Swedish BW Team, he is a primary 1on1 player in the Warcraft 3 - TFT team aswell. Hope we'll get him back to where he belongs soon.

Primary 2on2 teams
JessE + Masken
Playing together for almost two years might be a good enough explanation of their skills?

Xodiac + TreK
What more could be asked of a 2on2 team than growing up with each other and sharing the same interest for years?

Start playing
The team's line up is now done, awaiting us stands the next challenge; World Nation Tour v2. As the WNT newly was resetted, we will participate and do our best. We will start playing national matches next weekend.

The homepage
Team SWE has moved into a new step of design and programming when it comes to the homepage. It's been changing a lot, but I believe this is the final home of the team, our final castle. We will, together with the Swedish national team in Warcraft 3 TFT, make ourselves feel at home at the new homepage which will be released shortly! And this time, we've put a lot effort to make it a site worthy to represent us.

Wish us the best of luck!
