MVP Phoenix and Vega Squadron clashed for the third time at the WePlay Dota 2 League Season 3, this time to with the title on the line.
Vega Squadron has eliminated Evil Geniuses from the tournament, and will join MVP Phoenix in the Grand Finals.
The second day at the WePlay Dota2 League Season 3 LAN playoffs ended with promising results for the only representatives of North America, and not well at all for three CIS squads.
Team Empire have continued what has become their signature losers bracket dominance, wiping Na’Vi from the tournament in a powerful 2-0 performance.
A very strong contender for the game of the year was played in Ukraine at the WePlay day one Playoffs between Evil Geniuses and Team Spirit.
The Greeks from Ad Finem got drawn in the so called “group of death” and haven’t been able to secure an upper bracket seed for the playoffs. Today they got eliminated by Team Empire after a really hard fought best-of-three series.
The seeds for the playoff double elimination bracket at WePlay Season 3 are set. The GSL group stage ended after a very long day one, with some surprising results.
Today, April 28th, WePlay Season 3 LAN event kicked off with its GSL groups. The top two teams from each group will advance into the playoff upper bracket.
WePlay TV has announced the talent lineup for the upcoming WePlay DOTA 2 League Season 3 LAN.
Shortly after the final adjustments to the team line-up were made, WePlay revealed the entire schedule for the LAN event along with the format of the tournament.
