Started on September 8th, the Nanyang Championships US qualifiers have reached the final stages of the competition. The newly reformed Cloud 9 secured themselves a spot into the finals, sending Digital Chaos into the lower bracket.

Format released for Nanyang DOTA2 Championships

KeyTV, a Shanghai-based eSports organization, has announced a new tournament taking place in Singapore.  While it is nominally a Southeast Asian event, the Nanyang DOTA2 Championships will draw competitors from around the world.

Nanyang Championships will start at $200,000

After a brief announcement yesterday morning, KeyTV has announced that the Nanyang Championship will have a base prize pool of $200,000, making it the largest prize pool the South East Asian region has ever seen. On top of that, 25% of all in-game ticket sales will also be added into the prize pool.
