LV-Gaming takes D2L Season 5 title
The D2L LAN finals have concluded and Chinese representative LV-Gaming takes home their first LAN title. Virtus.pro Polar tried their best to contest the title, but came short 1-3 in the finals.

The first day of the D2L LAN finals has concluded and in an unexpected turn of events, CDEC find themselves eliminated. On the other side of the bracket, Virtus.pro Polar and LV-Gaming are fighting for the first grand finals spot after convincing performances in the first round.
The support player of VP.Polar Ilya 'LiL_HaRDy' Ilyuk did not manage to get an American visa in time for D2L, and he will be replaced by no other than Jimmy 'DeMoN' Ho for the tournament's LAN finals. This is the first official appearance of DeMoN since September.
Evil Geniuses will play with at least one stand-in during the LAN finals of the D2L, as Sumail 'SumaiL' Hassan has announced on Facebook to be playing for the North-Americans in Las Vegas. Who he will be replacing has not been officially announced yet.
The Russian squad has announced that they have been unable to attain visas on time to attend the LAN Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is unknown if the runners-up, Virtus.Pro.Polar, will be able to attend in their stead.
On his stream, LV-Gaming player Zyf has hinted at the new roster former DK coach 71 putting together. Mushi and Ohaiyo will stand-in for LV-Gaming at the upcoming D2L LAN finals and the five players attending are supposedly the new team that ideally runs under the EHOME flag.
The Western Division of the D2L has finished its groupstage and sees North-American powerhouse Evil Geniuses secure the first spot, thus qualifying them for the LAN finals in Las Vegas. They will join the likes of CDEC and LV-Gaming, with only one spot left to be decided.
