DreamHack moves on, and so does the StarCraft tournament. The favourite JessE is currently playing in the Winner Bracket semifinal against Mireille. The tournament has had its ups and downs, we were hit by a bracket bug that slowed down the tournament a bit.
When the tournament started, 31 players had confirmed their participation in the official 1on1 StarCraft: Brood War tournament. After some seedings were made, the tournament started instantly. As the tournament went on, we discovered some minor errors in the bracket system, that slowed the tournament down temporarily. However, now it's going great, and we've reached the Winner Bracket final, where JessE is playing Mireille in a hot and close match where it currently stands 1-1. GosuGamers will give you interviews with the players as soon as possible.
If you stick around or are thinking of arriving at the Elmia Halls tomorrow, I can tell you that the finals of both StarCraft and WarCraft III will be played on stage, á la Korea style. Don't miss it!
