Regional qualifiers

Asian Qualifiers
  • Top 4 teams of Phase Two competes against the top 4 teams of the last G-1 Season.
  • These 8 teams are placed into 2 groups of four.
  • The top 2 teams will advance directly the Main Tournament.
  • The 2nd and 3rd place teams of each group will play each other for the final 2 spots.
Western Qualifiers
  • The 4 qualified and 4 invited teams play in a double elimination bracket.
  • The top 2 teams (finalists) will qualify for the main event.
