CS:GO Shuffles: Entropiq benches entire roster

The roster, consisting entirely of Russians, was let go due to mixed results in 2022.

Entropiq has made the announcement on social media that they will be parting ways with their 2022 roster after the team did not produce acceptable results for this season.

The current line up consists of:

The team was able to qualify for last year’s PGL Stockholm Major but unfortunately did not qualify for this year’s PGL Antwerp Major in May. The couple already saw the transfer of Aleksey “El1an” Gusev just recently, and this benching of the whole roster is just the next step from there.

CEO of Entropiq Daniel Kloud said in an interview with HLTV that the team did not reach their goals for the year, and the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine was bad for Entropiq’s business.

“Due to visa issues, our players couldn’t attend IEM Dallas for which they qualified through tough competition. This resulted in our absence at IEM Cologne as well. We especially regret the unsuccessful qualifications for the last two Majors. At the same time, since the beginning of the war [in Ukraine], it has been impossible to fulfill business goals associated with our CIS roster. For these reasons, [we placed] the team on a transfer list.”

The players have yet to share their plans moving forward – either sticking together or heading out separately. With the IEM Rio Major just around the corner, however, it is unlikely that any team will be picking them up for any roster unless there is a need to have subs.

Entropiq still has two complete rosters in play – Entropiq Praque in the Balkans, and the all-women Entropiq Queens in Poland.
