The New GGL Americups has just released a list of players they have invited to compete in their $4000 USD tournament. Most of these players you will recognize for sure from other leagues.
The GGL Americups is a weekly league based competition where every Tuesday the players in the league will play each other in a Best of 3 series on a 8 map weekly rotation. They will be playing for the prize which will be $4000 USD. All this will take place on the PGTour.net B.Net-X server because of it's anti-hack launcher.
The long list of 32 players are:

The most important thing in any StarCraft league other than the players, are the maps. Each week there will be a new line up of maps for the players to play in, the schedule goes like this:
Week 1 | Lost Temple | |
Week 2 | Dahlia of Jungle | |
Week 3 | XenoSky | |
Week 4 | Sin Gaema Gowon | |
Week 5 | Neo Guillotine | |
Week 6 | Nostalgia | |
Week 7 | Luna | |
Week 8 | Arizona |
Now the season won't start until April 11th 2005, but they will have a preseason kick off on April 4th 2005, where I'm sure they will have players play exhibition matches against each other. As the Americups starts parallel to the Clanvase EuroCups, at the end of the season there is a planned North America vs Europe playoff.
