ELEAGUE - Week 6 Preview

Virtus.pro, compLexity Gaming, Team EnVyUs, and Gambit Gaming will compete this week in a series of BO2s to advance in the $1.4 Million ELEAGUE Season 1.

This group differs greatly from the previous two week’s groups with two European giants who are in large slumps that have lasted for months, instead of a single European team ranked top 5 in the world. Virtus.pro and EnVyUs will seek to being to reverse the dreadful form they have both experienced these past few months and advance to the ELEAGUE playoffs in late July and to provide momentum and a morale boost before Cologne.

Gambit enter this week with confidence following their qualification for Cologne earlier this month, including a win against EnVyUs on Cobblestone. Additionally, Gambit went through a relatively recent roster change, picking up Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan to replace Jan "wayLander" Rahkonen who stepped down from the team in April and was sold to Flipsid3 earlier this month.

compLexity enter this week as the huge underdogs, with no recent tournament achievements under their belts. The team has experienced frequent roster changes his past six months, which included the departures of Daniel "roca" Gustaferri and Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki to EchoFox, and Hunter "SicK" Mims to TSM.
